Due to our rapid growth, we are currently looking for an experienced management consultant with a background working on client projects within data governance & transformation.
Consultant / Senior Consultant
Position Overview:
Participating in projects with leading financial institutions and Fortune 500 companies, across technology, Finance, Data and Information Management departments.
Lead data governance and framework in finance transformation projects
Be an active team member and provide support to managers and key stakeholders for the successful execution of client projects.
Working closely with our other offices and leverage our global network to take part in cross-selling initiatives and widely share our knowledge.
Sharing consulting best practices with the team.
Prepare material to support business development initiatives
Specific areas of expertise:
Ideally, you would have experience in projects in one or more of these areas:
Reviewing data requirements, leverage analytic and technical skills to innovate, build, and maintain well-managed data solutions and capabilities to tackle business problems.
Experience designing and implementing enterprise data strategy in key areas such as data governance and data framework
UML data modeling experience will be desirable
Understanding of insurance/ banking processes and data domains.
Working with project manager and stakeholders on requirement formalization and writing (user stories, use cases, test cases)
Working with business and technology teams on process mapping and engineering as well as documentation
Data Governance: Provide data insights for the business and function, recommend areas for improved data consolidation, automate reports to streamline the data collection and reporting processes.
3 to 5 years of working experience
Relevant experience in a management consulting firm
Excellent Project Management skills.
Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Economics, Econometrics, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics.
A good understanding of insurance/ banking processes and data domains will be desirable
Relevant systems and process analysis experience: A good understanding of the systems development process and overall project lifecycle.
Knowledge of ETL process, data governance, data quality management concepts, and data quality tools
Ability to work with all levels of the organization and people from diverse backgrounds in the Asia Pacific Region.
Ideally, exposure in various business technology solutions would be beneficial, understanding of SQL, Java etc.
Logical thinker, good communication skills and details oriented
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and client face-off.
Ability to work independently and take full ownership and responsibility.
Strong documentation skills using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
